General Policies

Are there any age restrictions for the conference?

Yes, according to conference policies, interested delegates must be between 18 and 25 years old by February 1, 2025.

Can I register as an individual delegate?

Yes! Delegations of all sizes are welcome. Individual delegates will just be considered a delegation with one delegate where you are your own head delegate.

Do I need to attend as a representative of my high school or university?

No. Enrollment as a high school or university student is an eligibility requirement for WorldMUN however.

What does the delegate fee include? Where will delegates stay during the conference?

The fee helps cover the cost of the conference venue, as well as other associated logistical expenses.

Accommodation and meals are not included in the Harvard WorldMUN fees. The team is currently working with local hotels and vendors to secure discounts for delegates. Information regarding this will be released in the coming months.

What are WorldMUN observers? What is the fee for being an observer?

Observers are allowed to attend committee sessions and watch delegates debate. They are also welcome to participate in the social events, which are a signature part of Harvard WorldMUN.

The total cost for observers is $179, which includes a $100 registration fee and a $79 observer fee. If you'd like to join the WorldMUN social events, a social package will be available, with pricing to be determined in January or February once venues are confirmed.

I am having trouble funding my fees for WorldMUN. Do you offer financial aid?

Yes! Please complete the financial aid application by October 15, 2024. Financial aid covers registration and delegate fees for successful applicants.

What committees are double delegate?

Two of the ECOSOC committees are double delegate: Commission for Social Development (CSocD) and World Bank. The other committees are single delegate. Our primer has a list of all available committees for Harvard WorldMUN 2025.

How does the timeline for registration and other fees work?

The registration fee is a flat, non-refundable $100, charged per delegation, regardless of size.

Delegate and faculty advisor fees are charged per person, based on the number of participants listed in the delegation’s registration form.

Delegate fees increase as the conference date approaches. Priority I registration has already closed. We are currently in the Priority II registration period for delegations that have already paid the registration fee. Any new registrants from today onward will be part of the regular registration period.

When is Harvard WorldMUN 2025?

The conference will take place from March 16 to March 20, 2025. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Delegates from my country require a visa to enter the Philippines. Who can I contact about this?

E-visas are issued by the host country’s team once all fees – registration, delegate, and faculty advisor fees (if applicable) – have been paid. Once this has been completed, please email the host team, manilahwmunlegal@gmail.com, in order to receive your visa letters.

Who should I reach out to if I require special assistance during the conference?

Delegates requiring special assistance, such as those mandated by the Americans with Disabilities Act, must notify WorldMUN. Please reach out to our Under-Secretary-General of Delegate Relations at delrel@worldmun.org.
